Maprao Organic Coconut Water is the first product produced and sold by Bangkok based Coco Nuts Ltd. - an organic foods company committed to producing sustainable and fair products.
Initially released only to the local Bangkok market as a soft launch product, it did not have a coherent brand identity or yet implemented any real marketing strategy. As the company realized its potential, they made plans to relaunch as a premium product, which, with a new increased shelf life, would allow it to be distributed in higher quantities and to more channels, in turn ramping up sales and reaching a much wider audience.
Create a new visual identity for a premium coconut water High Pressure Product (HPP) that resonates with the home market and is suitable for rollout to multiple foreign markets, to generate buyer potential and increase sales.
As Project Lead I executed a brand overhaul and marketing strategy for this start-up FMCG across regional Southeast Asia. I led the initiative from market research and brand positioning through to developing the creative. I scoped and controlled production timelines and prioritized backlog. I sourced and managed web developers, designers, writers, and content strategists to produce content across multiple formats including website, a series of films, stock photography, dual-language branding, and marketing collateral.
This initiative tripled sales, saw continued growth exceeding clients expectations, and earned the company the Best New Product Award at the Natural & Organic Expo Asia 2016.
